Our Process

Quality Products. Quality Service.

Quality is our top priority at Lasersharks.com.  We make sure our laser etching and engraving services last as long as the products they are on.  Our process greatly varies based on the materials (leather, plastic, stainless, copper, fabric and more) we are etching into, but every process goes through an extensive checklist to make sure the delivered goods meet and exceed the expectations of our customers. We use some of the best laser engraving machines in the business allowing us maximum precision on any material.

Stainless Applications

Stainless etched products, like YETI Ramblers & Hyrdo Flask pint size tumblers, are definitely our most popular application. During our process, we evenly coat the stainless with an activator that provides the deep black etched coloring you see on our all of our products.  Our dedicated application booth allows for us to quickly coat large orders to speed up overall application time.  This allows us to offer some of the fastest completion times in our industry.

Coated Stainless Applications

Our lasers engrave at very precise depths based on the surface we are etching.  This makes marking any surface adhering to the base stainless (paint, powder coat, etc…) a very easy process.  This creates a unique look that allows the stainless to shine through, contrasting the main color of the product.  This process also eliminates the need for the activator used on bare stainless, which also speeds up the time of completion.

Logo Work

Since our lasers only mark in one color, your custom logo must easily convert to black and white for optimum results.   We request that all logos be sent in either the original .ai or .eps file format.  If those formats are not available, a high resolution .jpg or even a .pdf file will usually work.  If all else fails, we do have an in-house design team that will help convert your logo for an additional charge.  Charges are based on the complexity of the logo, but typically fall with the $10.00 – $50.00 price range.
